We value the Local Church
The local church is what Church General Counsel values most. It's why we exist. Our staff are expected to be involved in their local church. We dedicate time to pray for the churches we serve and have means set up for you to tell us specifically how we can pray for your church. While we understand the value of the universal church, the local church is the manifestation of all that the universal church involves. We love the church.
We Value Finishing the Task
Jesus said, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Mt. 24:14). He told the local church to "go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." (Mt. 28:18). The mission of the local church, the universal church, and of every believer is to make disciples of the nations. We desire to see the task completed in our life time. When you hire Church General Counsel, you help lower the cost of services to small businesses that will establish legitimate operations overseas in countries closed to the gospel to provide a platform for missionaries there, and 10% of our gross revenue will in some fashion support the missions endeavor.
We Value Disciple-Making
If we are to make disciples of all the nations, then we must value disciple-making. At Church General Counsel, we are dedicated to discipling one another. We commit time each week to engage in disciple-making activities through our local churches and with people we meet. We expect that our staff will take time to leave the office, meet an unbeliever for coffee or lunch, and share the gospel while still getting paid. When you hire your own Church General Counsel, you are furthering the Kingdom of God where we live and work.
